Do I need a new phone number?
No — forward your existing missed calls to JONO. You keep the number on your van, cards, and Google listing.
What if I answer the call myself?
Nothing — JONO only steps in on calls you don't pick up. Answered calls never touch it.
How fast does JONO text the caller?
Within seconds of the missed call reaching JONO.
What counts as a missed call?
A call that rings out on your phone and forwards to JONO. Calls you answer never reach JONO. What happens when your phone is off or out of signal depends on your carrier.
What happens to my voicemail?
While forwarding is on, a missed call goes to JONO instead of voicemail. The caller hears a short recorded line and gets the text. Turn forwarding off and your voicemail is back.
What does the caller see?

A text: Hi, this is Jono, the AI assistant for [your business]. Sorry we missed your call. How can I help? It’s software, not a person, and it says so. Callers are told their details go to you, and they can reply STOP at any time.

Does JONO give advice or book jobs?

No. JONO asks what the caller needs, where and when, and the questions you’d ask about your trade. It doesn’t give advice, quote prices or book a visit. It captures what the caller says and passes it to you. You decide what happens next.

Can callers send photos?
Yes. Photos and voice notes reach you in JONO. It can’t read a photo or listen to a voice note, so it asks the caller to say it in a few words too.
Will JONO text my friends and family?
Yes, the first time. If you’d rather it didn’t, tap “Don’t text this number” on their message and JONO leaves them alone. Anyone can also reply STOP.
Is my callers' information safe?
Yes — data is handled with care and never sold. See the Privacy page for details.
How do I cancel properly?
Two steps. Cancel in Dashboard → Manage billing, and dial your carrier’s code to turn forwarding off; JONO shows you the code when you close. If you only cancel, your missed calls keep forwarding to a line that no longer answers them.
